Freelance cameraman & editor Jerry Morgan has 14 years experience and a reputation for quality, consistency and reliability.
I am based in the Midlands so can easily reach anywhere in the UK and beyond, and am happy to travel. I have my own HD camera & editing equipment, and have a fully solar powered mobile OB unit. I am also happy to us a variety of hired in cameras.
I have films & edited a number of short films, promos, music videos, vox pops and documentaries, for a wide variety of clients, both as part of a team and as a one man band.
I have had many years experience in event videography, live to screen, live streaming, quick turnover filming/editing/uploading, broadcast and archive.

SHORT FILMS
I have produced short films for a variety of clients from corporates to charities, including D&AD, Triumph, Chestnut Tree House Hospice, Old Vic Tunnels, Firefly Solar, Ruigoord Cultural Haven, Amsterdams Ballongezelscap, Friends of the Earth,
Swervy World Theatre, The Green roadshow, and have exhibited work at the Amsterdam Historical Museum.

My own equipment includes a Sony EX1 HD Camera, Vinten Blue tripod, Manfrotto Tripod, Slider, Rode shotgun mic, 2 x Panasonic GH2 DSLR type cameras with a variety of lenses, Sennheiser Wireless lapel microphone kit, Zoom audio recorder, field monitor, Macbook Pro.
I also own and run a Solar Powered mobile OB unit for filming and editing at outdoor events, and a tented mobile cinema for audiences of 150+, also run on Solar Electricity.

DOCUMENTARY
This is a compilation of short interview based sections for the D&AD awards 2012. Filming and editing was done over 2 days at Olympia in London to Document the Judging process. These films were screened the following day as part of the awards event at the Imax at Waterloo. I did all of the filming and some of the editing
I was one of the camera operators on the shoot for this short film for and about the Chestnut Tree House Hospice in Sussex, made to raise awareness and help with fundraising for the charity
This is a short promotional video for green energy supplier and event production team Firefly Solar. It documents the production of the unusual premiere for the film Age of Stupid in Leicester Square in 2009. I was responsible for all filming and editing.
This is a film of the grand finale of the Camp Bestival Festival at Lulworth castle in 2013. I was DP, main cameraman and editor.
Out of the Frying pan is a short, light hearted look at the pros and cons of using vegetable oil as a vehicle fuel. Made in 2005 for the Groovy Movie Picture House, all filming and editing was done by me back in the pre-HD days

D&AD Awards ceremony 2012 at the Imax cinema, Waterloo, London. I was main front of house live camera and also shot the pre recorded sections. This is a recording of the live stream of the event. My live camera was also used for Imag and the pre recorded clips were projected onto the massive Imax screen

FASHION
I have been the main cameraman for video production company Brightonart Ltd at London Fashion Week since 2006. We have been the in-house video crew for both on|off and Fashion Scout International, and Graduate Fashion Week. Shows are either shot and cut live as a directed crew, or recorded in camera and edited later, with a fast turnaround. These show were all shot and edited by me.
